12Cyberbullying follows the bullied student everywhereBullying online is technically easy; it requires just a couple of clicks. The anonymity of the online world tempts children to try something that they would not normally do in the real world. Online, one can spread and misuse lies, personal information, embarrassing pictures, or send mocking or threatening messages. Offline bullying is often limited to school hours and grounds, but on social media, bullies can reach their target at anytime and anywhere. The bullied student is not safe even in their own home. Though cyberbullying has increased in recent years, it continues to be relatively rare compared to other forms of bullying.
